The plan describes our commitment, objectives, responsibilities, and procedures for managing HSE risks and opportunities in our operations and projects.

Policy Statement

Mine Boy Resources is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible workplace for our employees, contractors, clients, and stakeholders. We believe that all accidents, injuries, and illnesses are preventable, and that all environmental impacts can be minimized or eliminated. Roles and Responsibilities

The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of everyone in Mine Boy Resources. The specific roles and responsibilities are as follows:
The Managing Director is accountable for the overall HSE performance and compliance of the company and provides strategic direction and leadership on HSE matters.
The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing the HSE policy, plan, and procedures and for providing guidance and support to the project teams and site managers on HSE issues.
The Project Managers are responsible for ensuring that the HSE policy, plan, and procedures are implemented and followed in their respective projects and for reporting and managing HSE risks and incidents.
The Site Managers are responsible for ensuring that the HSE policy, plan, and procedures are implemented and followed in their respective sites and for supervising and training the site personnel on HSE matters.
The Employees and Contractors are responsible for complying with the HSE policy, plan, and procedures and for working safely and responsibly at all times. They are also responsible for reporting any HSE hazards, incidents, or concerns to their supervisors or managers.

Procedures

The HSE procedures describe the specific steps and actions that we take to manage HSE risks and opportunities in our operations and projects. The procedures cover the following aspects:
HSE risk assessment and management
HSE training and awareness
HSE documentation and records
HSE communication and consultation
HSE monitoring and measurement
HSE auditing and inspection
HSE incident reporting and investigation
HSE emergency preparedness and response
HSE corrective and preventive actions
HSE performance review and improvement
The HSE procedures are aligned with the ISO 45001:2018 and 14001:2015 standards and are available in the HSE manual. The HSE manual is accessible to all employees and contractors and is reviewed and updated regularly.
